Video Podcast - Circle Time and Traditional Inuit Knowledge

This video is a demonstration of how Inuit culture is taught to children using verbal and visual interaction rather than a textbook. This circle time was done by Ina Zakal of the Ottawa Inuit Children's Centre. This podcast also illustrates the importance of teaching traditional knowedge (Inuit Qaujimajatuqangit). It is vital to Inuit that traditional knowledge be passed on to maintain the richness and vitality of Inuit culture in the years to come.
